Ryan and Ariel were exceptional. When looking for a travel team to plan our honeymoon, we contacted many resources. The most responsive, most upfront, and most accommodating was Kaigai by far. The informational interview to make sure there was a fit between us was a crucial step many other agencies wouldn’t entertain.
The trip planning process operated without a hitch. The attentiveness that Kaigai put into adhering to our interests and desires was outstanding. The detail with which they formulated our itinerary and made multiple revisions based on changes was highly useful and impressive.
The helpful sessions to go over the itinerary and travel plan including train ticket purchasing, museum lottery ticket purchases, and Google Maps orienting were an unexpected and excellent bonus. Furthermore, the fact they made themselves available throughout our time in Japan to field questions or help when we made an audible to our itinerary was greatly appreciated. I would be remiss not to state that their tour of Kyoto was exactly what we were looking for and so incredibly fun and interesting.

Ariel and Ryan were so amazing guiding us around Kyoto! They gave us such a cool tour of the [Gion] district with a great balance of historical information and modern culture. We were there for the Cherry Blossoms in full bloom and they showed us some of the best places to see them around the city. Their restaurant recommendations were amazing as well and showed us the beauty and variety of Japanese cuisine. So thankful for their services during our trip.

Ryan and Ariel are spectacular guides. I've been to Japan quite a few times at this point and have gone on 2 tour guides, one of them being Kaigai Japan. First off, Ryan and Ariel are quite friendly and really down to earth. Per my experience, they showed my girlfriend and me around the local area of Kyoto. I've been to Kyoto twice now, and Ryan and Ariel showed me a whole different side of Kyoto! We went on a small food tour around Kyoto, which was amazing, and they even took their time out of the original planned day to accommodate us, [by showing us] different small bars! I 100% would recommend Kaigai Japan, and when I come back to Japan, I will definitely use them again!
